Porto denies any negotiations for Milan striker Santiago Gimenez
Porto officially rejected reports that it is negotiating a transfer for AC Milan striker Santiago Gimenez. Journalist Fabrizio Romano stated that the club’s president and officials said no offers or talks have taken place. The rumors had cited a possible €35 million deal, with Milan reportedly open to his exit, but the club clarified there is no current discussion with Porto.
Gimenez, a Mexican international, remains with Milan while his future stays open. Other clubs, including MLS side Orlando City and Italy’s Lazio, have been mentioned as interested, and Milan is reportedly targeting Gonçalo Ramos as a replacement.
The denial comes amid the player’s participation in the 2026 World Cup build‑up, keeping his transfer options on hold until after the tournament.
