Porto Esperança school completes major renovations

The Municipal Rural School of Integral Education Polo Porto Esperança and Extensions, located in the Porto Esperança district, has completed a general renovation. The project aimed to improve learning conditions for students in the riverside community, serving both early childhood and elementary education levels.

The revitalization was made possible through a partnership between the Corumbá City Hall and LHG Mining, with participation from the Sanitation Company of Mato Grosso do Sul (Sanesul). Improvements included structural reinforcements, painting, replacement of doors and windows, and a new roof and hydraulic network. The school's two bathrooms were also upgraded with new stalls, showers, and toilets.

The facility operates on a full-time basis and currently serves 31 students from Pre-I and Pre-II through the 9th grade.
