Porto Mantovano: Carabinieri rescue 93-year-old woman after fall

A 93-year-old woman was rescued in Porto Mantovano after suffering an accidental fall in her home during the night. The emergency began when a neighbor heard her cries for help and contacted the 112 emergency number.

Carabinieri officers, who were conducting patrol services as part of local security agreements, responded to the scene. Due to the difficulty of accessing the apartment, they requested assistance from the Vigili del Fuoco (Firefighters). Upon entering, responders found the woman on the floor, unable to get up.

Medical personnel from the 118 service provided initial care and transported the woman to the civil hospital in Mantova under a yellow code. Her condition is reported as stable and not life-threatening. The Carabinieri officers remained with the woman to provide comfort until the ambulance arrived.
