LGBTQIA+ Pride events and summits scheduled in Brazil and Portugal

Various LGBTQIA+ community events and summits are scheduled across Brazil and Portugal.

In Salvador, Brazil, the 23rd Bahia LGBT+ Pride Parade, organized by the Grupo Gay da Bahia, will take place on September 6. Under the theme ‘Vergonha adoece. Orgulho cura!’, the event features 13 electric sound trucks and cultural programming to discuss the health impacts of stigma and discrimination. Additionally, the 7th Bahia Trans March, supported by the Salvador City Hall, will occur in the Barra district to celebrate diversity and visibility.

In Porto, Portugal, the Porto Pride 2026 includes the Porto Pride Summit at the Teatro Municipal do Porto – Rivoli. The summit focuses on organizational inclusion, digital activism, and the impact of Pride on urban transformation, bringing together experts and business leaders to discuss practical strategies for diversity and inclusion.
