Porto Recanati mourns passing of pharmacist Alberto Cruciani
The community of Porto Recanati is mourning the death of Alberto Cruciani, a prominent local pharmacist and former city councilor, who passed away at the age of 86. Cruciani died at the Marchetti Clinic in Macerata.
Cruciani opened his pharmacy on Corso Matteotti in 1976, serving as a community pillar for nearly five decades before passing management to his children. Beyond his professional role, he served as a city councilor from 2004 to 2009 under the administration of Mayor Glauco Fabbracci, where he held the delegation for social services.
Local officials have expressed their condolences. Mayor Andrea Michelini praised Cruciani’s professionalism and the human connection he built with generations of citizens. Former mayor Rosalba Ubaldi described him as a noble and generous man who was known for his ability to mediate and bring serenity to political discussions.
