Porto San Giorgio port management extended to December 2026

The management of the Porto San Giorgio tourist port will remain under Sgds Multiservizi srl until December 31, 2026. This decision follows a ruling by the Council of State (Consiglio di Stato) that overturned a previous TAR decision regarding the temporary assignment of the infrastructure to the municipalized company.

The Vesprini administration approved a resolution to ensure essential services within the marina are not interrupted while the municipality conducts the necessary investigations required by the court ruling. The administration is currently evaluating whether to pursue further legal action against the sentence and must decide by the end of the year whether the port will be managed through a public tender or via in-house management.
