Porto Torres begins emergency repairs on via Dell'Industria

The municipality of Porto Torres has initiated emergency repairs on via Dell'Industria, a critical road connecting the city to its port and industrial area. These temporary measures aim to repair dangerous potholes and improve traffic flow while a permanent structural safety project is finalized.

The project is supported by 3 million euros in funding from the regional Department of Public Works. The road is a high-traffic artery, handling over one million vehicles annually, and requires both routine maintenance and extraordinary upgrades to meet safety regulations.

Planned technical interventions include replacing the expansion joints on the Ponte Colombo, restoring the road surface, and installing new horizontal and vertical signage. Following the current technical verification phase, the municipal council is expected to approve the project and initiate the bidding process for the works by the end of the year.
