Porto Torres hosts Kayemor delegation to strengthen twinning

The city of Porto Torres has hosted an official institutional delegation from Kayemor, Senegal, to strengthen their existing twinning agreement. The partnership, formally signed on April 1, 2026, aims to foster institutional, cultural, social, and economic relations through the exchange of best practices and shared project planning.

Mayor Massimo Mulas emphasized that the visit serves to renew bonds of brotherhood and establish foundations for future joint initiatives in education, social services, and culture. The collaboration aligns with broader international cooperation frameworks, including the Mattei Plan for Africa and the 'Vision Senegal 2050' initiative.
