Porto Valtravaglia undergoes harbor and lakeside redevelopment

Porto Valtravaglia is undergoing a series of redevelopment projects to improve the aesthetics and usability of its harbor and lakeside area. Recent work completed by the Lake Maggiore Basin Authority includes the restoration of two harbor poles, which were redesigned with striped patterns reminiscent of Venice to enhance the local identity.

This intervention follows previous dredging and cleaning efforts within the harbor. Future phases of the project will focus on the external area, including the installation of new lighting and a wooden walkway on the pier to improve safety and accessibility for residents and visitors.
