Porto Velho advances urban revitalization projects
Public works projects are progressing in Porto Velho, Brazil, aimed at enhancing urban leisure and community spaces.
At Parque Circuito, revitalization efforts have entered a significant phase involving electrical services and new lighting installation. Construction is also underway for new restrooms and outdoor recreation areas, including an outdoor gym. A notable feature of the project is the implementation of an interactive fountain, which will be the first of its kind in the state of Rondônia. Approximately 70 employees are working in two shifts to accelerate the transformation of the park into a modern, accessible space for sports and family leisure.
Simultaneously, construction at Praça do Recanto do Lago has advanced with the installation of interlocking floor blocks and curbs. Electrical infrastructure work, including conduit placement and the installation of light poles, is in progress. The project, which incorporates Japanese cultural design elements, also includes the construction of benches for community use. Future stages will focus on landscaping, vegetation planting, and the installation of wooden structures.
