Porto Velho hosts first Esquenta de Aniversário cultural event

The city of Porto Velho held the first edition of the ‘Esquenta de Aniversário’ at Praça do Abobrão in the South Zone. Organized by the Porto Velho City Hall through the Municipal Cultural Foundation (Funcultural), the free event featured culture, leisure, citizenship, and entrepreneurship activities for families.

A major highlight was the ‘Show de Talentos’, which provided a platform for local artists to gain visibility. The program included 17 performances involving singing, dancing, instrumental music, and various artistic interventions. Mayor Léo Moraes emphasized the importance of occupying public spaces to bring the government closer to the population and create opportunities for emerging artists.

The next stage of the event is scheduled to take place on the 19th at Praça CEU in the East Zone.
