Portola Week returns to San Francisco with city-wide music events

Goldenvoice has announced the return of Portola Week, a series of over 15 satellite shows across San Francisco running from September 24 to September 27. The events are timed to coincide with the fifth anniversary of the Portola Music Festival, which takes place at Pier 80 on September 26 and 27.

A central highlight of the week is the DESPACIO Extravaganza at Pier 80 on September 25. This six-hour session features a custom, high-powered sound system designed by James Murphy, the Dewaele brothers, and John Klett. Access to this specific event is restricted to long-term festival attendees who have held a pass every year since the festival's 2022 inception.

The broader Portola Week schedule includes performances by various artists such as Soulwax, Fatboy Slim, 2manydjs, Overmono, and Groove Armada, with venues spanning the city including the Regency Ballroom, Club Six, and the Great American Music Hall.
