Porto's former Banco Mello headquarters to become luxury residences

The former headquarters of Banco Mello in Porto is being transformed into a luxury residential development named Royal Sá da Bandeira. Developed by Royal Ventures, the project has a total value exceeding 8 million euros.

The intervention, designed by Atelier IN•DETAILS, aims to preserve the original building's character while integrating contemporary construction, comfort, and efficiency standards. The development will consist of eight apartments and one commercial unit, with completion expected by December 2026.

Located on Rua Sá da Bandeira near the São Bento Station and Bolhão Market, the project features high-end finishes including oak flooring, marble in common areas, and Bosch appliances. Residential units range from 35.6 to 133.5 square meters, with prices between 285,000 euros and 1.2 million euros. Three of the eight units have already been sold.
