A 39-year-old bus driver has been arrested following the death of a 14-year-old boy in Portsmouth. The incident occurred at approximately 4:25 p.m. on August 17 near The Hard, close to Portsmouth Harbour.
Hampshire Constabulary reported that the teenager was walking when he was struck by a bus. He was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries but has since passed away. The driver was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and has been released on bail until November 17 pending further investigations.
