Portsmouth mother shares story of raising 'Irish twins

Jay Antonia, a 27-year-old mother from Portsmouth, has shared her experience of giving birth to 'Irish twins'—siblings born less than 12 months apart. Just 12 weeks after the birth of her first son, Teddy, Antonia discovered she was pregnant again after a routine pregnancy test.

Antonia and her partner, Joshua, expressed a mix of happiness and apprehension regarding the rapid succession of pregnancies. While Joshua had hoped for a small age gap between children, Antonia noted concerns regarding her physical recovery and the impact on their eldest son. The couple welcomed their second son, Albie, 11 months after Teddy.
