Portugal adds new Arcádia and Lidl stores in Lisbon area and Sertã

Arcádia opened two new retail locations in the Lisbon metropolitan area in partnership with NESCAFÉ. One store opened on Avenida 5 de Outubro near Campo Pequeno in Lisbon, offering chocolates, pastries and coffee drinks, and operating from 07:00 to 19:00. The second store launched in the Fórum Montijo shopping centre on the south bank, open from 09:00 to 23:00 and featuring the same Arcádia × NESCAFÉ concept.

Lidl inaugurated two supermarkets in Portugal. The first, in Carvalhal (Grândola), opened on 18 June with an €8.3 million investment, creating more than 20 jobs and featuring LED lighting, photovoltaic panels and fast‑charging stations for electric vehicles. The second, on 19 June, marked Lidl’s debut in the Sertã municipality, costing €6.5 million, adding over 20 direct jobs and similarly equipped with modern retail features. Both stores provide large sales floors, extensive fresh‑food sections and ample parking.
