Barreiro Street Arts Festival Returns to Parque da Cidade

The Festival de Artes de Rua revives its presence in the Parque da Cidade, Barreiro, from 10 to 12 July. Organized by the municipal council with support from the Direção‑Geral das Artes, the free event showcases circus, theatre, dance, music and family‑friendly activities. International companies from Portugal, Spain and Italy perform, including Erva Daninha’s “Por um fio”, Italy’s Circo Pacco “100 % Paccottiglia”, and Spain’s La Gata Japonesa “Paipai Rouge V”. The programme also features a children’s book fair, origami workshops, literary readings and a DJ‑led picnic. The festival closes with a performance by the Orquestra Baía.
