Portugal beach soccer team defeats Japan 6-2

The Portuguese national beach soccer team defeated Japan 6-2 in the first of two friendly matches held in Nazaré. The victory serves as preparation for the European League Super Final.

André Lourenço opened the scoring for Portugal with a powerful shot. Although Japan equalized through a direct free kick by Ozu Moreira, Portugal quickly regained the lead via Rui Coimbra.

In the second half, Portugal extended their advantage with goals from Duarte Algarvio, Pedro Mano, and a second from Rui Coimbra. Fábio Costa scored the final goal in the closing minutes to secure the win. A second friendly match between the two teams is scheduled for the following day.
