Portugal convenes forums on recovery fund efficiency and housing reforms

On 25 June 2026 the Europarque in Santa Maria da Feira hosted the third edition of the Encontro das Agendas Mobilizadoras. Minister Maria da Graça Carvalho attended to review progress achieved with the European Union’s Recovery and Resilience Fund, showcasing examples of efficiency and technological development in Portuguese industry and stressing the need to decentralise the debate on public investment.

Two days earlier, on 23 June 2026, the Convento de S. Francisco in Santarém held the third NERSANT IMO – a housing forum that gathered more than 100 participants, including municipal officials, industry leaders and the Secretary of State for Housing, Patrícia Gonçalves Costa. The conference addressed bottlenecks in the housing market, calling for simplified licensing, industrialised construction methods and faster delivery of affordable homes, especially in medium‑sized and low‑density territories.
