Portugal cracks down on illegal Bad Bunny ticket resale in Lisbon
Portugal's Food and Economic Security Authority (ASAE) detained six individuals for illegally reselling tickets to Bad Bunny's concerts at Lisbon's Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica. The operation, codenamed “Puerto Rico”, seized 14 tickets and uncovered sales advertised on social media at prices up to €410 above face value.
The suspects were placed under identity‑verification measures and, after appearing before a court, received a provisional suspension of the proceedings on the condition they pay fines ranging from €400 to €1,000 or perform up to 110 hours of community work. ASAE warned consumers that speculative resale is a criminal offence punishable by six months to three years in prison and a fine of at least 100 daily‑penalty units.
