Portugal fires cause building evacuations and injuries

Two separate building fires have been reported in Portugal. In Vila Nova de Famalicão, a fire broke out in an apartment within a three-story building in Calendário, reportedly starting in a clothes dryer. The incident required the evacuation of the building.

In Porto, a fire in a garage on Rua Júlio Dinis resulted in two injuries and the destruction of three vehicles. The injured individuals were transported to Hospital Santo António due to smoke inhalation. Residents were evacuated from the building as a precaution but were allowed to return once safety conditions were confirmed.
