Portugal hosts major wine and sparkling wine tasting events

Portugal will host two major wine tasting events in September, showcasing a wide variety of national wines and sparkling wines.

The Sparkling Wine Affair will take place on September 5 at the Hyatt Regency Lisboa. The event features over one hundred sparkling wines from various national producers, including Douro Ansiães, Quinta dos Abibes, Murganheira, Quinta da Lapa, and Casa Ermelinda Freitas. Attendees can engage with producers to learn about different terroirs and production methods while enjoying a specialized gastronomic menu.

Additionally, the Wine Affair Cascais is scheduled for September 19 at the Sheraton Cascais Resort in the gardens of Quinta da Marinha. Curated by the magazine Paixão Pelo Vinho, this event will feature approximately 200 references, including still wines, sparkling wines, Moscatel, and Port wine. The selection covers multiple Portuguese regions such as Vinhos Verdes, Douro, Alentejo, and Tejo. The program includes live music, DJ sets, and opportunities to interact directly with brand representatives.
