Portugal industry events focus on AI and digital marketing trends

Industry leaders and specialists in Portugal are gathering to discuss the evolving landscape of digital technology, specifically focusing on Artificial Intelligence and marketing strategies.

The NEXT. MARKETING conference, organized by the Associação Portuguesa de Marketing Directo e Digital (AMD) and held at the IAPMEI Auditorium in Lisbon, is scheduled for October 28, 2026. Under the theme ‘THE NEW MARKETING’, the event will address how AI, data personalization, and shifting consumer attention are transforming business growth and creative processes.

Simultaneously, the Portugal Digital Summit is addressing the impact of AI on the digital economy, particularly in light of the European AI Act regulations that came into effect in August. The summit, themed ‘The Era of AI Agents’, features speakers such as Amazon’s country leader Inês Ruvina and legal expert Adolfo Mesquita Nunes. Discussions aim to explore how businesses can leverage AI agents for productivity and innovation while maintaining security, ethics, and regulatory compliance.
