Portugal July tax filing deadlines for companies

July is the busiest month of the Portuguese tax calendar, concentrating a range of mandatory filings and payments for businesses. Key obligations include the submission of the Simplified Business Information (IES), payments on account for corporate income tax (IRC), and the implementation of a new model for Social Security contributions.

Specific deadlines are set throughout the month: by 6 July companies must submit the SAF‑T invoicing file for IRS, IRC and VAT; by 10 July the Monthly Remunerations Declaration is due to the tax authority and Social Security; 15 July sees the Intrastat declaration, VAT import option notice, Model 11 for IRS/IMT/Stamp Tax, and the IES filing; 20 July requires the Stamp Tax monthly statement, VAT recap and periodic statements, and source‑withholding declarations along with Social Security payments; 21 July the COPE declaration to the Bank of Portugal is due; 27 July marks the deadline for monthly VAT payment and the start of the new Social Security payment model; and the final day, 31 July, is for the Quarterly Social Security Declaration, Models 30/40 for IRC and IRS, and the IRC payments on account (PPC) and additional payments on account (PAC). Pluxee Portugal advises firms to monitor these dates closely and watch for any official adjustments.
