Portugal men's volleyball team prepares for European Championship

The Portugal men's national volleyball team has arrived in Viana do Castelo for their final preparations ahead of the European Championship in Bulgaria. The team, led by coach João José, is placed in Group B and is scheduled to make its debut on the 10th against Poland, the defending champion and current FIVB leader.

Following a successful training period that included friendly victories against Australia, the squad faces a challenging group stage. After the opening match against Poland, Portugal is scheduled to play Bulgaria, the world vice-champion, on the 11th. The group stage will continue with matches against Israel, Ukraine, and North Macedonia.
