Portugal: Planned electricity outages scheduled for several municipalities

E-REDES has scheduled planned electricity interruptions across various regions of Portugal for Sunday, September 20. These outages are necessary for network maintenance, repairs, and technical maneuvers where alternative power supply options are unavailable.

The scheduled cuts will affect several municipalities, including Leiria, Odemira, Loulé, Covilhã, Barreiro, Portimão, and Montemor-o-Novo. While the entire municipalities will not lose power, specific parishes and streets will be impacted.

In Azeitão, interruptions could last up to six hours, potentially extending until 15:00 if unforeseen issues arise. In Barreiro, work involving the replacement of distribution cabinets is expected between 07:00 and 11:00. Other areas, such as Ferro in Covilhã, are expected to experience shorter outages of approximately 90 minutes.
