Portugal prepares for July religious festivals in Soutelo and Foros de Salvaterra

The parish of Soutelo in Vieira do Minho will host its traditional festivities in honor of Nossa Senhora da Lapa from July 10‑12, 2026. Events include nightly masses, a candle procession, concerts by local groups, a fire‑show ceremony, and a folklore festival featuring the Rancho do Mosteiro and Rancho Passarinhos da Ribeira.

In Foros de Salvaterra, celebrations for the Imaculado Coração de Maria are also scheduled for July 10‑12, 2026. The program features religious rites, musical performances by various ranchos, DJs, dance groups, a bull‑on‑rope event, fireworks, and traditional games, concluding with a final mass and procession.
