Portugal reports deaths of local figures and public servants

Several deaths have been reported in Portugal. Manuel Duarte dos Santos, the former president of the Abrantes Municipal Assembly, has passed away at the age of 83. He had a long career in public service, serving as a municipal deputy, secretary, and president of the assembly. He was also active in the Rossio ao Sul do Tejo Parish Assembly and held leadership roles at the Social Parish Center of Rossio ao Sul do Tejo. Professionally, he worked as a registrar for several decades and presided over the General Assembly of the Association of Registrars.

Other recent passing notices include Maria do Rosário Pina da Costa of Reguenga, who died at age 78, and Manuel Moreira da Costa, aged 91, who resided in Germany.
