Portugal expands summer cultural scene with new art exhibition and open‑air theatre shows

The Cristina Guerra Gallery in Portugal has partnered with the QuebraJazz Arts Festival to present the exhibition "Contraponto".

The Silves municipality continues its outdoor theatre cycle, staging the play “A Última Baforada de CO2” in Alcantarilha on 10 July and in Silves on 11 July. The production, a co‑production of LAMA Teatro and Teatro das Figuras, follows three travelling performers on their final tour, mixing humor, emotion and reflections on the value of the journey.

Both events are free to the public and aim to bring contemporary art and theatre to a wider audience across several towns.
