Portugal towns Seia and Montemor‑o‑Novo hold World Youth Day celebrations

The municipality of Seia will mark World Youth Day on 12 August with a programme that includes the public presentation of its Municipal Youth Plan, a "Sunset Young Talks 2.0" forum, an eclipse‑viewing session with certified glasses, and a concert by Mizzy Miles to launch the town's four‑day festival.

In Montemor‑o‑Novo, the Sete Sóis Sete Luas festival returns on 2 August, featuring Greek singer‑songwriter Xanthoula Dakovanou, whose performance blends Greek, Balkan and Eastern Mediterranean vocal traditions. The event is part of the town's international cultural programming and follows recent municipal outreach activities by Mayor Carlos Pinto de Sá.
