Portugal women's football clubs boost rosters with new contracts and youth signings

Vitória Sport Clube announced the renewal of Brazilian centre‑back Débora Maciel for a third consecutive season. The 27‑year‑old, who helped the team achieve promotion and maintain its place in Portugal’s top women’s league, has made 35 appearances and scored once during her two previous campaigns.

In a separate development, Tondela’s under‑19 women’s squad confirmed the addition of forward Inês Caldeira, 17, from Beira‑Mar and centre‑back Matilde Neves, formerly of Académico de Viseu. The two players join a growing roster as Tondela prepares to debut in the second‑division National Women’s Football League for the 2026/27 season.
