Portugal's Festival Z and Beliche Jazz Attract Large Audiences

The Festival Z returns to the Lago Azul beach in Castanheira on 25 July, offering a free Sunset session that features a DJ set by Razy—known for blending funk, soul and jazz influences—and a later set by Nuno Dias, who mixes rock, pop and R&B. The 2026 edition of the Festival Beliche Jazz in the Algarve has sold out all its concerts. Highlights include the Sofia Rodrigues Quarteto performance on 18 July, the Caribbean‑inspired "Caribe Libre" concert with the Orquestra de Jazz do Algarve, Raul Reyes and Osvaldo Pegudo on 25 July in Sagres, and an additional Latin‑jazz show on 26 July in Aljezur. Tickets remain available for the Aljezur concert, underscoring strong public demand for the region's summer cultural program.
