Porto Meridional presents project at Arroio do Sal's Festa do Pescador
The 24th Festa do Pescador in Arroio do Sal, Brazil, runs from July 29 to August 2 and features traditional fishing competitions, live music, and community activities that celebrate local coastal culture. The private investment project Porto Meridional, valued at R$ 6.5 billion, operated a booth at the festival to inform visitors about its on‑shore port development and ongoing environmental licensing.
In Portugal, the Feira de Agosto in Torrão takes place from July 31 to August 2, offering a three‑night programme of concerts, traditional folk groups, and DJ sets. Highlights include performances by Miguel Azevedo, Bandidos do Cante, and the Grupo Coral Alma Alentejana, as well as a popular baile and a showcase of regional gastronomy.
