Portuguesa clinches women's state title and advances in men’s Serie D

Portuguesa’s women’s squad secured a second consecutive Campeonato Amapaense de Futebol Feminino, defeating Combatente 5‑0 in the final at the Centro de Desenvolvimento do Futebol Amapaense. Goals came from Juh Lourenço (two), Roberta, Aninha Belém and Lara Soure. Forward Juh Lourenço finished as the tournament’s top scorer with nine goals, while midfielder Thauana Abacaxi was named the best player. The victory guarantees the team a place in the 2027 national competitions.

In the men’s side, Portuguesa earned a place in the round of 16 of Brazil’s Serie D after a 2‑0 win over Marcílio Dias‑SC. Defender Gustavo Henrique returned from a muscle injury and entered in the closing minutes. Captain Eric Botteghin praised his comeback, saying the squad is now stronger. The club will face Uberlândia‑MG in the next round, with the exact dates pending a CBF announcement.
