Portuguese cable channels NOW and CMTV report high viewership

Television viewership data in Portugal shows strong performances for cable channels NOW and CMTV.

NOW has consolidated its leadership during prime-time hours (20:00 to 24:00), securing a 1.9% audience share with an average of 70,500 viewers per minute. This performance surpassed news channels CNN and SIC Notícias, which each recorded a 1.8% share.

CMTV achieved a daily audience share of 6.1%, driven largely by its coverage of the Estrela-Sporting football match. The program “Duelo Final, Golos” was the most-watched program of the day, averaging 254,000 viewers per minute with a 6.4% share. CMTV's coverage outperformed the combined audience of CNN, SIC Notícias, and RTP Notícias, which totaled 5%.
