Portuguese chefs announce exclusive culinary and jazz events

Portugal is hosting two distinct culinary events featuring high-profile chef collaborations and live music.

On September 26, the Prosa restaurant, located in the MS Collection Aveiro at the Palacete de Valdemouro, will host a Collection Live Music event. Executive chef João Covas has designed a seven-course menu to be accompanied by live jazz. The gastronomic proposal includes dishes such as a beetroot, mint, and citrus combination, a course titled ‘O Pão’ featuring crayfish with coconut and caviar, and a ‘suado de bacalhau’.

On October 1, the Sauvage restaurant at the Centro Cultural de Belém will host the third edition of ‘Dois Olhares, Uma Mesa’. This event features a collaboration between executive chef Ricardo Gonçalves and guest chef João Correia, the executive chef of Rossio Gastrobar. The menu focuses on seasonal and organic national products, blending Gonçalves’ contemporary technical approach with Correia’s oriental influences. Featured dishes include tempura of cod, ox tail mille-feuille with foie gras, and wild mushroom and truffle rice with pork.
