Portuguese cities host Noite Branca cultural festivals
Various cities in Portugal are hosting 'Noite Branca' (White Night) cultural celebrations featuring music, dance, and public performances.
Gondomar is hosting an extensive event starting at 19:00, featuring approximately 90 performances across 10 stages. The program includes 65 artists and bands, with notable acts such as Wet Bed Gang, D.A.M.A., Buba Espinho, and Dealema. The festivities include urban and electronic music, funk, samba, and street performances such as acrobatics, fire shows, and aerial numbers. Local commerce and over one hundred associations are participating in the event, which is expected to draw large crowds.
In Braga, the Noite Branca celebrations conclude on Sunday, September 6, following three days of cultural activity. The closing program includes performances by the Braga Philharmonic Orchestra and singer Bárbara Tinoco. The event will also feature visual spectacles, including videomapping titled ‘A Luz de Braga’ and a drone show titled ‘Da memória à luz: Braga em Movimento’ at Avenida Central.
