Portuguese Enduro Cup reaches penultimate round in Proença-a-Nova
The Portuguese Enduro Cup, presented by Shimano, continues this weekend in Proença-a-Nova for its fifth and penultimate round. The event includes official training on Saturday, with competition starting Sunday morning. The race features various categories, including Sub-13, Sub-15, Sub-17, Sub-19, Sub-23, Elite, Masters, Open, and E-Bikes for both men and women.
In the men's Elite category, Jimmy Silva holds the general classification lead with 620 points, though José Borges has narrowed the gap to 20 points following a recent victory. In the women's Elite category, Ana Luz maintains the lead. For E-Bikes, Tiago Ladeira leads the men's E-Elite, while Ana Leite leads the women's classification.
Additionally, Salir do Porto will host the first edition of the António Morgado Cycling Prize on October 11. This event focuses on developmental cycling and honors the local rider from UAE Team Emirates XRG. The program includes various youth categories, such as Pupilos, Benjamins, and Iniciados.
