Portuguese industries expand international presence at major trade fairs

Portuguese industrial sectors are expanding their international presence through major trade exhibitions. In the construction sector, 23 Portuguese companies are preparing to participate in BATIMAT 2026 in Paris. This event, part of the new ‘Paris Builders Show – PBS’ concept, serves as a global platform for construction materials, energy performance, and digital building solutions.

Simultaneously, the Portuguese wood and furniture industry is targeting the Middle East. Under the ‘Inter Wood & Furniture’ internationalization project organized by AIMMP, a group of 12 companies, including cork flooring manufacturer Granorte, participated in the ‘Hotel & Hospitality Expo Saudi Arabia 2026’ in Riyadh. The initiative aims to connect Portuguese manufacturers with professionals in hospitality, architecture, and interior design within the strategic Saudi Arabian market.
