Portuguese man dies in motorcycle accident in Verín, Spain

Bruno Sousa, a 31-year-old Portuguese man and board member of Vouga Sport Clube, died following a road accident in Verín, Galicia, Spain. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning, August 25, when the motorcycle Sousa was riding collided with a passenger car while he was traveling with friends toward the Picos da Europa.

Vouga Sport Clube released a statement expressing deep sorrow, describing Sousa as a “dedicated member of the Board,” a “friend,” and a “companion.” The club praised his “enormous enthusiasm,” “good disposition,” and “genuine kindness,” noting that his loss leaves a profound mark on the community.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, August 28, at 18:00 at the Igreja Matriz de Pessegueiro do Vouga.
