Portuguese man found dead in Lima River in Galicia

A 50-year-old Portuguese man was found dead in the Lima River in Lobios, Ourense, in the Galicia region of Spain. Authorities suspect the man may have fallen from a bridge located approximately 51 kilometers from a national road.

Emergency services received an alert around 11:50 PM reporting a man lying on rocks in a steep, difficult-to-access area along the riverbank. Following a rescue operation to recover the body, death was pronounced at the scene. The body was transported to the University Hospital of Ourense for an autopsy.
