Portuguese Minister Miguel Pinto Luz completes pilgrimage to Fatima

Portuguese Minister Miguel Pinto Luz, who oversees infrastructure and housing in Prime Minister Luís Montenegro’s government, completed a four-day pilgrimage from Lisbon to Fatima. The journey covered more than 130 km.

Pinto Luz, a member of the Social Democratic Party, undertook the trek alongside his wife and three children. Following the journey, he shared his experience on social media, stating that while the experience was physically demanding, it was important to share his religious testimony. He remarked that “tolerance does not mean hiding one’s religious convictions” and emphasized that individuals do not need to eliminate their own identity to respect the identities of others.
