Portuguese towns boost emergency services, youth sports and cultural projects with new funds

The Seixal municipality invested about €200,000 to provide two new ambulance units to its mixed humanitarian fire corps, presented during the Municipal Firefighter Day on 29 June.

Sintra’s council approved more than €63,000 under the Reaviva Sintra scheme to subsidise the rehabilitation of several urban buildings older than 30 years, allocating up to €30,000 per project in neighborhoods such as Mem Martins, Rio de Mouro, Queluz, Belas, Massamá and Monte Abraão.
