Portuguese municipalities host music festivals throughout October

Several Portuguese municipalities are hosting music-focused cultural initiatives throughout October.

In Montemor-o-Novo, the ‘Mês da Música’ (Music Month) features over 20 different initiatives across various locations. A notable event includes an experimental music performance by Vítor Rua and Nuno Rebelo scheduled for October 2 at Carvoaria.

In Nazaré, the municipality is presenting ‘Outubro, Mês da Música,’ a diverse program running from October 5 to November 1. The schedule includes symphonic music, recitals, and cinema sessions at the Cine-Teatro da Nazaré, with featured performances such as ‘Entre o Mar e a Terra’ and ‘The Beatles for Trio.’
