The Portuguese National Mountain Bike Team competed in the seventh stage of the Mountain Bike World Cup in Les Gets, France, featuring Olympic Cross-Country (XCO) races for both U23 and elite categories. The results for the Portuguese athletes were below expectations as they used the event as a final test before the upcoming World Championships in Val di Sole, Italy.

In the women's U23 category, Beatriz Guerra finished in 48th place, one lap behind winner Valentina Corvi. In the men's U23 category, Tomás Pais made his World Cup debut, finishing 82nd.

In the elite categories, Ana Santos finished 42nd in the women's race, 11 minutes and 13 seconds behind winner Sina Frei. In the men's elite race, Roberto Ferreira placed 82nd and João Cruz finished 88th. The men's elite race was won by Adrien Boichis.
