Portuguese political leaders take brief breaks in Algarve

Portuguese political leaders Luís Montenegro and José Luís Carneiro have been observed taking brief breaks in the Algarve region.

Prime Minister Luís Montenegro, who previously stated he would not take formal holidays to coordinate government activities, was seen at Praia do Garrão in Almancil with his family. Meanwhile, Socialist Party Secretary-General José Luís Carneiro spent time at Manta Rota beach with his wife and children as part of his planned August rest period.
