Portuguese series Para Além do Cérebro wins award in Cannes

The Portuguese documentary series ‘Para Além do Cérebro’ has been awarded the Silver Dolphin at the 2026 Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards. The series trailer secured second place in the ‘Trailers and Teasers for Documentaries and Reports’ category.

Supported by the Fundação Bial, the 16-episode production aims to bridge science and spirituality by exploring potential human brain capabilities such as telepathy, precognition, psychokinesis, and mediumship. The series features interviews with over 50 specialists in fields including physics, psychology, psychiatry, neuroscience, and parapsychology from international institutions such as the University of Liège, the University of Virginia, and King’s College London.
