Portuguese students join Erasmus+ program in Varese, Italy

A delegation of Portuguese youth arrived in Varese, Italy as part of the European Union's Erasmus+ mobility programme. In an interview on the TV show "La materia del giorno", participants Eleonor and Rita described how the experience helped them develop personal and social competencies, gain confidence, and learn about Italian culture and landscapes in Piemonte and Lombardia.

The exchange, organised with the local association Stare Bene Insieme APS and the Portuguese network PASEC, aims to train future social leaders by fostering dialogue, teamwork and community engagement. Organisers highlighted the project's role in strengthening a sense of European identity and encouraging active citizenship among young people.
