Portuguese towns host summer film screenings for children and heritage

The Teatro Fonseca Moreira in Felgueiras will run a "Matinés de Cinema Infantil" series from 30 June to 6 August 2026, offering weekday afternoon showings of animated and adventure titles such as Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Toy Story 5, Vaiana and others for audiences aged six and above.

In Miranda do Douro, two short documentary films – “Lhéngua” (25 min) and “A Dansa dos Paulitos” (30 min) – will be previewed on 27 June. The programmes explore the Mirandese language and the traditional Pauliteiros dance, highlighting their historical significance and cultural importance in the region.
