Portuguese towns roll out summer youth activities across July 2026
The parish of Gouveia opened registrations for its OTL 2026 programme, a free summer‑time occupation project for residents aged 15‑25 that runs in three periods from 6 July to 28 August.
In Matosinhos, an ATL camp for children aged 6‑12 operates throughout July and until 13 August, offering pools, a planetarium, laser tag, hip‑hop, karate, skateboarding and field trips to local parks. Fees range from €100 for a single week to €390 for the full month, with optional meals at €4 per day.
Silves’ municipality announced a series of free Creative Workshops in July for youths 13‑17, covering DJ mixing, folklore, bank‑sewing, and acrylic painting, each lasting 3‑6 hours and limited to small groups.
Guimarães presented a variety of summer offerings, including artistic workshops by the cooperative Fontes, sports programmes, gymnastics at GuimaGym, and science activities through Curtir Ciência.
Palmela’s community‑formation program scheduled July events such as a ceramics workshop, wellbeing sessions in Serra do Louro, nature‑drawing activities, and a board‑games evening, with modest participation fees.
